Offering a bespoke service, working to impeccably high standards and ensuring wedding couples feel as though they have a friend in the wedding industry has earned us a fantastic reputation. Our main office & workshop is based in Kent. Currently, we cover Kent, London and Surrey and occasionally, further afield. We specialise in intimate to large events for up to 300 guests.

BOOKING - We offer a DATE RESERVATION FEE option for clients wishing to use our PART or FULL PLAN service.

HIRE IT OPTION:

Clients wishing to use the HIRE IT option are encouraged to book through the online store, using the ‘curated collections’ as guides. If a bespoke quote is required, please email enquiries@idyllicdays.com where Sarah will guide you with all the necessary information. Sarah can also arrange a call back to go over any queries and help you with your booking.

Kent events: our warehouse is open by appointment only. If you would like to see our props for hire, please contact Sarah enquiries@idyllicdays.com

Deposit payment is 50% at time of booking. The final balance is due 28 days prior to the event.

PAYMENTS - we accept payments via card or online bank transfer.

MINIMUM SPEND - £300

Please note that The Ferry House Inn minimum spend is £150

Can I just hire some napkins / tea lights etc? Unfortunately, we are not able to fulfil smaller orders and have a minimum spend of £300 This ensures that stock and resources are available for our clients booking a full service.

GENERAL INFO:

AREA - I’m in a different area… do you work elsewhere? For the right event, we will look at working further afield and often do. We have enjoyed working in the Cotswolds, Devon, Wales and the South of France.

DELIVERY / SET UP / TAKE DOWN / COLLECTION

HIRE IT OPTION - We will notify you of your delivery and collection time slot. Please provide as much helpful information for our drivers as possible. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that there is a clear path and easy route, free of hazards for our delivery staff. Please advise in advance of any restrictions such as stairs and same day collections.

You are responsible for liaising with your venue or coordinator.

A signature is required at the time of delivery.

Items are packaged in bubble wrap in our personalised containers. Our driver will unload the boxes to a designated place at your venue. Items will need to be available at the time of collection for the driver to collect successfully. Should the items not be available in the correct place, a surcharge will be made to cover another delivery slot. All packaging is included on the hire inventory and must be returned.

Set up & take down: some hire items require set up and take down. We will contact you to make arrangements and confirm that access permits us to have sufficient time.

Whereby a venue requires a collection at midnight / 1am a surcharge is chargeable. The amount is dependent upon location and date.

Damage and return deposit:

All bookings require a damage and return deposit which is held from the event date and returned once the hire items have been returned to our warehouse and checked in.

PARTIAL PLAN - We will liaise directly with your venue or coordinator over delivery, set up, take down and collection timings.

NEW VENUE -

HIRE IT OPTION - Simply give us the details of your event location and a point of contact when booking, so that we may calculate the correct delivery fee.

PARTIAL PLAN - Meetings will take place at your venue so that we get a clear visual of your space and awareness of the logistics involved.

FULL PLAN - Initial meet to take place at your venue so that we gain all the necessary info needed. We love working at a new venue !

I WANT TO USE THE ‘HIRE IT’ OPTION BUT WOULD LIKE A SHOWCASE MEETING - Currently, our FULL PLAN service includes a showcase meeting. Clients enjoy seeing a table set up with their chosen items or choices alongside florals, linens etc to help them visualise how their look will come together. A large mood board is displayed to reference and refreshments are served for our clients. Due to the logistics, time and preparation involved, we are not currently able to offer this service to other clients, unfortunately.

I HADN’T BUDGETED TO INCLUDE A ‘FULL PLAN’ OPTION. DO I REALLY NEED IT? Using an expert helps use your budget wisely, saving the rise of unnecessary costs and impulse purchases. You are in complete control but have industry insider knowledge at your finger tips. Quite often, couples have ideas but have no idea where to source things from and how to bring things together into a cohesive design. Clever design makes even the simplest of plans seem original and we are teaming with great advice. ‘Money well spent’ is the feedback we are getting since launching this service.

Laura and Mark gave this great advice: “Using Sophie @ Idyllic Days to manage the whole plan for us saved us so much time and stress. There were so many moving parts and we just didn’t have the time to sort everything out ourselves. She just intuitively knew everything that was needed and got on and did it. We were then left to decide on fun things like wine choices. When we arrived at the reception venue and saw the barn, we were speechless. The catering team, venue staff and guests all complimented us on such a beautiful wedding. The attention to detail and extra touches that Idyllic Days provided here and there were really appreciated. We couldn’t be happier to have found Idyllic days and would highly recommend using them”.

SOURCING - we often source that ‘must have’ item and have a list of companies that we cross hire from and highly recommend. Our resources form part of our ‘little black book’ of partners and highly respected companies that share our ethos and always impress. We have taken time to familiarise ourselves with their inventories, new lines and procedures, along with their advice, so that we can best advise our couples.

STYLED SHOOTS - We carefully consider all the elements of a shoot before committing. We’ve enjoyed being part of some amazing shoots and magazine features for many years. We are, therefore, happy to assist with compiling a list of props, styling and design for the right shoot. Please email enquiries@idyllicdays.com with a list of suppliers, intended feature and a mood board of ideas. We understand that the final list may still be being drawn up but please send details of the photographer involved. If we receive an enquiry without details of the confirmed photographer, please accept our apologies but we are unable to respond.
